“Now, About Your Wives…”: A Sermon on 1 Peter 3:7

Faithful followers know that I never post sermons on this blog (Not that I’m discouraging you from listening, which you can do online here, or you can subscribe to the church podcast here).

However, I delivered a sermon at the Immanuel Network Summit 2018 in Louisville, KY, and I discovered that what the Lord had given me to share was an important word for many of the men and women who attended. So, I wanted to give you all access to it as well.

All you have to do is press play above. Here’s a taste:

The Almighty God, before the dawn of creation, chose out your wife. And he considered her frame, and he put his finger on her name, and he said, “Write her name down in the Lamb’s Book of Life. I want to set her aside not as a vessel of wrath, no. This weak, fragile vessel—I am going to pour my overflowing, abundant, undeserved mercy into her.” And then he steered all of history toward the crucifixion of his own Son in order to make that happen.

This is the God she calls “Father”.
